Assuming 30 per channel. Enough for the job. Bro says he'll pick it up since I am a total hermit these days.

I don't think Kenwood stuff brings in the dollars like other brands...... it sure didn't when I tried selling an early solid state receiver on ebay. If it does what you need at a price you're comfortable with it will likely be fine, but don't expect to make money when you part with it.Originally Posted by Old Guy

Doing a quick search, I didn't find much on it either. I did find a a reference or two, that said late 70's. If it were me, I'd wait till I found something by Pioneer or Sansui.

Only thing appealing about this is that is actual pic, clean with box, 50 bucks asking. Hard to go very wrong, but...I'm spending bucks to replace the CTS tweets in the Madrids, so want something decent...

I run a KR-6600 about that vintage on my desktop system. It's a tank. Gave $30 about 8-9 years ago, cleaned the pots and switches, and it's seldom been turned off since. Real nice tuner section, and the I/O has every analog connection desireable with a pre-main loop too. Runs my power hungry ML-1Cs just fine.

I had a couple Kenwood Receivers in the late 80's .The ones I had, IIRC were a 50 & 100 wpc receivers.Don't remember the model #'s.They sounded darn nice though.And there automotive electronics are excellent as well.I've had a Kenwood car stereo in my cars since the early 80's powering my Altec VOH's. That's why I gave the receivers a try and was very happy with them.For $30 you can't go wrong,as it looks brand new.
